We know landlord life is a busy one with a lot of responsibilities. With that in mind, TurboTenant makes it simple to organize all of your leads.

What is a lead?

A lead is an individual that is interested in your property listing. They might have seen your listing on our partner listing sites and reached out about a showing. Or they could have seen your property listing flyer and given you a call to ask a few questions.

Keep track of your leads all-in-one place

TurboTenant makes it easier to find your next tenant by putting lead information at your fingertips. Instead of information being spread across emails, voicemails, or just a stack of paper next to the phone, TurboTenant automatically pulls in all of your leads into the Leads tab.

As individuals express interest in your property, you'll receive an email from TurboTenant with that lead’s contact information, and they'll be instantly viewable in your TurboTenant account. You can also add a lead manually within the 'Leads' section of your account.

Where do leads come from?

Leads are automatically added to TurboTenant when they come from 3rd party listing sites after you turn on Marketing. You can also add a lead manually. Here are all of the places leads come from:

  • When you are marketing your property online, leads will automatically be created as they contact you from the dozens of sites we list your property on.

  • Leads are added when you share your TurboTenant property.

  • When you invite someone to apply to your property, they will be added as a lead so you know that you’ve invited them, but they haven’t completed their application.

  • When you Send a Pre-screener to a lead from the 'Leads' section of your account

  • When you add a lead manually. This is a good option for someone who reaches out by phone or wants to meet in person.

What do I do once I get a lead?

When a lead first comes in, you can add notes from any conversations you have with them. This will help you keep track of everyone and evaluate who might be a serious contender.

If you are worried about forgetting to respond to a lead, make sure to mark that lead as contacted when you talk with them. This will help you keep track of everyone so no one falls through the cracks.

Do you think they might be a good fit?

To be confident they will be a good tenant, take advantage of TurboTenant’s online application and credit and background check. Inviting a lead to apply through TurboTenant is simple:

If a lead is no longer interested in your property or isn’t the right fit, you can archive a lead so that the best ones rise to the top.
