Enter your rental details once, turn your Marketing Online feature on, and have your rental property information posted to dozens of rental listing websites. Yes, it’s really that easy!

Publishing a listing on TurboTenant automatically enables marketing for the property. This ensures your property gets the exposure it needs to reach potential renters. However, it's important to understand how marketing operates to ensure your property remains visible to the audience.

Please take a look at which rental listing sites we post to here.

Turning on Marketing

Step 1: Log in to your TurboTenant account and click on the Properties tab

Step 2 - Click on the rental you would like to market online

Step 3 - Go to the Marketing tab and select the button to Start Marketing Online.

💡 TurboTip: You may have a rental in TurboTenant but still need to set up the listing page for that rental property. You can see how to set up the listing page to turn marketing on for a rental here.

Step 4 - Verify Your Phone Number

If you haven't done so yet, you will be asked to verify your phone number to begin marketing online - this is an important measure to prevent fraud and protect renters and property owners alike.

Once you've entered the code to verify your phone number, your rental listing will be posted to dozens of rental listing sites. Marketing Online will be automatically turned off after 30 days unless you renew or extend Marketing Online. So if you still need to fill your property by then, make sure to renew it! It’s always best to monitor your settings.

Note: Your listing will not be visible on 3rd party websites until about 24-48 hours after you turn on marketing in TurboTenant.

Managing Expired Marketing

Marketing on TurboTenant is automatically active for thirty days after turning it on. If your marketing has been turned off, you can reactivate it by:

  1. Editing your listing with a new availability date. Refer to this guide for assistance: How do I edit my rental property listing?
