Adding your property is the first step to start streamlining your rental process! Once you add your rental, you'll be able to market on dozens of rental listing websites and accept applications online.

There are two ways to add your property- on the web and on your mobile device.

On the web:

Step 1:

Click Let's Get Started from your Dashboard.

Log in to your TurboTenant account and click Let's Get Started.

Step 2:

Select the property type that best describes your rental

You can start by selecting the type of rental you will be posting. You'll be able to choose from the following property types:

  • Single Family House (Standalone Residence)

  • Townhouse (Individual Unit)

  • Condominium (Individual Unit)

  • Small Multi-family (2-4 units at the property)

  • Apartment Building (5+ units at the property)

  • Other Types (Mixed-use, RV Park, etc.)

You can also choose from this page if your property will have room rentals.

Check out more about creating multi-unit properties.

πŸ’‘ Once a property type is added and saved, it cannot be changed. To modify the property type, you must create a new property. This applies only to the property type, not to editing the listing or its details.

For the purpose of this article, we'll be using the single-family home as an example.

Step 3:

Add rental details, the description, and more!

πŸ’‘ TurboTip: In the initial listing setup, you'll notice that you can upload a maximum of 20 photos. If you have additional photos to include, you'll want to save your listing and then edit it again to add more photos.

Once you add your basic rental information, you can select "Set Up My Listing" to start adding the specific details about your rental.

Adding all of your rental info will create a listing that brings together photos, a description, the location, and a list of amenities to make your place stand out. Did you know a renter is 81% more likely to inquire about a rental with 10+ photos?

To complete this step, click through the pages with the requested property information. To move to the next page, click Next at the bottom of each section.

Note: If you are using your phone's Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge browser (meaning you are accessing TurboTenant.com on your phone but not through the TurboTenant app), clicking Start Marketing Online will reveal a confirmation message, and your listing will be posted on dozens of sites!

Verify Your Phone Number To Publish Your First Listing:

A verified phone number is required to post your rental on third-party listing sites. You can select how you'd like to receive the verification number, whether by text message or phone call. You'll be prompted to enter the verification code to proceed.
