When you send a screening report request to your lead, applicant, or tenant, it will show in their account at the top of the page. They'll have two options to choose from: Approve Request or Deny Request.

How Does a Renter Deny a Screening Request?

When a renter denies a Screening Report request in their portal, renters will see a confirmation screen where they can select either Cancel or Deny Request. Typically if they are choosing this option, they have either decided not to move forward with the rental or they do not want to pay the screening fee.

What Does This Look Like in My Landlord Account?

If the renter has denied the screening request, a new status will appear in your account on the Applicant page for the Renter. You can see a sample of this message below:

Resetting The Screening Report Request

If your renters are still interested in completing the screening report or denied this on accident, you can contact TurboTenant Support to enable this option again. Once re-enabled, you can request the screening report from your renters.
