What is the status of your rental application?

You submitted the application, did the screening report, and contacted the landlord... Now what?

The landlord can do a few different things. They can choose to move on to a different applicant based on their qualifications, or they can choose to notify you that they are moving forward and they can "move you in".

Being moved into a TurboTenant lease profile prompts a Welcome Email to you.

Once you receive the email, you can set up your account with your payment method, message the landlord, upload renters insurance, and create a maintenance request.

You will also sign any documentation the landlord has requested in your portal.

TurboTip: When you get this email, if you do not have access to your dashboard, you will need to select "Didn't Set Your Password Yet?" You will not be able to log in until you set your password on the Renter Login Page.

Once you set your password, you will be able to see "My Home" as well as other TurboTenant properties that you have expressed interest in. All of the data for your new rental is going to be classified by the "My Home" option.

If you are still unsure if you have been selected for a rental, the best thing to do is to reach out to the landlord directly. TurboTenant is the website the landlord is using to manage their rentals. We do not own or manage any rentals ourselves.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)

What is the status of my rental application?

We recommend reaching out to the landlord directly to inquire about the status of your rental application. Please note that TurboTenant does not have the authority to approve or deny rental applications.
