Good communication is important when it comes to renting— for both the landlord and the renter! If you’ve been trying to get in touch with your landlord, there are a few easy ways to make sure your messages get through.

You may have received a text or email notifying you that the landlord sent you a message! This will prompt you to log into your TurboTenant account to view and respond to the message from the landlord.

Here's how to see messages from your landlords:

1. Log in to your TurboTenant Renter Account.

If you have not set a password yet, you will want to select "Didn't Set Your Password Yet?" to create a password and log in.

2. Click on the Messages link within your account.

Once you're in the Messages section, you'll be able to see all of the messages sent to you by any landlord whose property you have inquired about.

When you type in your reply and send it to a landlord through your TurboTenant account, a notification is sent to them. They can check that message and respond to you as soon as possible.

To send a video, image, or document, click on the "+" icon, then choose the type of file you would like to send.

If you'd like to change your notification preferences, you'll want to navigate to your Settings tab, then click on Change Preferences beneath Notification Preferences in the Account section.

TurboTip: Messages cannot be deleted or archived at this time.
