My landlord shared a document, how can I view this in my portal?

Great question! When your landlord shares a document with you, you'll first receive an email letting you know that a document was shared or that your signature is requested. Next, depending on the type of document it is, you'll be prompted with different notifications in your portal.

Signature Request

These types of documents include lease agreements and addendums. You may also be requested to sign a document that's been uploaded by your landlord. You'll see these types of requests on the main dashboard of your renter portal.

To complete this request, click the 'Sign the Document' button and follow the prompts.

TurboTip - Once the document has been signed by everyone listed on the agreement and your landlord, it will be available for you to view and download in the documents section of your account. If you have not yet received a copy of the signed document, TurboTenant recommends reaching out to your Landlord.

Shared Document (Signature not required)

When your landlord shares a document with you that does not require a signature, it will appear automatically in the documents section of your online portal. You can download the documents that are shared with you by selecting the download icon to the right of the document title.

TurboTip - Shared Documents will not appear on your main dashboard as a notification. You will receive an email notification about the shared document.
