As a renter, you may be wondering who to contact when you have questions for the landlord or TurboTenant. We understand that it can be confusing, and we'd love to guide you in the right direction.

When to contact your landlord:

First, we want you to know that TurboTenant is the software that property owners (landlords) use to manage their rental properties. Our support team does not own or manage any rentals ourselves. If you have any questions about the following, we recommend contacting the landlord directly:

  • Questions about your rent payment and amounts

  • Lease Agreement

  • If you’re receiving notifications about rent after moving out - your landlord would need to archive your lease profile in their landlord portal to indicate you've moved out and remove all lingering payments not owed

  • Incorrect Rent Amount. If you believe there is an error in your rental amount or any rent fees, your landlord would be the best to address this.

  • If you're looking for the status of your rental application, contact the landlord of the property directly. TurboTenant does not get to decide who gets approved or denied for a rental.

  • If you scheduled a showing for the rental property as a renter and you need to adjust it or have questions, the landlord is the best to address your questions.

  • General questions about the rental property, including availability.

  • Maintenance Issues and it is urgent, contact the landlord or submit a maintenance request within your renter portal. To learn how to submit a maintenance request, please click here. We also recommend reviewing your lease agreement to ensure you're following what is outlined in your lease and who to connect with in the event that something breaks!

How to contact your landlord:

  1. If you've applied to a property or are a tenant, you can log into your renter portal: Renter Login

  2. Click Messages or Send Landlord Message; click here to learn how to send a message.

  3. If you're inquiring about the rental, you can search for it on our website by clicking this link.

    1. You can enter the rental street address or the Property ID. Property IDs are unique to TurboTenant listings and are on all of the third-party sites where you may have found the rental listing!

    2. When you locate the rental listing after entering the On the listing, you'll see the Contact Landlord, where you can send an inquiry along with a message.

When to contact TurboTenant:

As a renter, you can contact our Support team by sending us an email or clicking on the bubble chat on the lower right of your screen. Our Support team can assist you with the following inquiries:

  • Technical Issues with the Mobile App or your TurboTenant renter account

  • Inability to connect your bank account

  • Rent Reporting Subscription

  • Partnerships

  • Renters Insurance Questions
