Messaging a Single Lead

Step 1 - Log in to your TurboTenant account and click on the Leads tab.

Step 2 - Click on the specific lead you would like to message.

Step 3 - Click the Messages tab, type your message, and click Send.

Bulk Messaging Leads

Maybe you want to tell all your leads about a showing, or maybe you just found the perfect tenant and need to let the rest of your leads know the rental is off the market.

Don't worry about having to copy and paste the same message over and over again - we make great communication easy.

Step 1 - Click the Leads tab within the toolbar of your account.

Step 2 - Select all leads or use the checkboxes to select the leads that you would like to message, then click the Actions button at the top of the page and select Message Leads.

Step 3 - Type your message and click Send Message.

Messaging an Applicant or Tenant

Option 1 - Click the Applicants tab along the toolbar in your account then click View Applicant next to the name of the person you'd like to message, and click the Messages tab, type your message, and click Send.

Option 2 - Click the Tenants tab, then select the checkbox next to the name of the person you'd like to message.

You can also send messages to multiple tenants in the Tenants tab. Simply click the checkbox of each tenant you'd like to receive the message.

Then type out your message and click Send Message.

Option 3 - Navigate to the Messages tab.

If you haven't added any renters (your leads, applicants, or tenants), then click Add Renters.

If you don't have leads, applicants, or tenants, then click New Message.

Search for the person you'd like to message using their name, type out your message, and hit Send Message.

To send a video, image, or document, click on the "+" icon, then choose what kind of file you'd like to send.

In the Details section shown below, you can view all files shared between you and the renter.

Notification of Messages

Renters will be notified that they have a new message from you via email and/or text message, or if they have the TurboTenant App for Renters they can receive a push notification for new messages. Renters will be taken to their TurboTenant account where they can read your message and reply to you.

When you receive a new message, you will also be notified via email and/or text, or if you have the TurboTenant App for Landlords you can receive a push notification for new messages as well.

As a landlord, you can update your notification preferences from your account settings under the Advanced tab on the computer or from Notification Preferences on the app.

To update your notification preferences on the web:

  • Log into your TurboTenant account.

  • Select Account in the bottom left-hand corner, then click Settings.

  • Select Advanced at the top of the page.

  • Select the Notification Preferences link to make the updates you'd like.

To update your notification preferences on the app:
