How Do I Change My Personal/Contact Information as a Landlord?

Update your personal or contact information in your Landlord Account

Need to update your account information?

Follow the three steps below to easily update your personal and contact information on your landlord account settings page. To get started, log into your TurboTenant Landlord portal. You'll be able to edit your:

  • Account Information (Includes name, email, phone number, and password)

  • Company Name (great for LLCs)

  • Mailing Address (used for Screening Reports)


On the Web

Log in to your TurboTenant account and click the Account tab in the lower left corner menu, then Settings

Click View Profile within the Account Information

Upon clicking View Profile in your Landlord Account, you can edit:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Password

Click Edit next to the Company Information or Mailing Address to update those sections of information

In the Mobile App

Step 1:

Login to your app, and in the lower right corner select More, then select Settings.

Step 2:

Select "My Profile"

From your profile, you can update your email, name, and phone number. You cannot update your company information or mailing address from the app at this time.


Updating Your Phone Number

You can change your phone number at any time in your settings, however for security reasons, changes to your phone number must be verified.

When you select "Edit" on your phone number, enter the new number you would like to change it to, and then select how you'd like to verify your new phone number. You'll have two options:

  • Send a text message, or

  • Call my phone

Make your selection and click "Send Code." You'll receive a numerical verification code instantly via text or call. Enter the code into the prompt box and select "Verify My Phone."


Updating your Email Address

When you update your email address, you will receive an email from TurboTenant asking you to confirm the change. Navigate to your email inbox and click the message from TurboTenant. Within that email, select Confirm My Email to save the changes.


Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: I am trying to update my phone number to an office number, but the prompt will not come through. What do I do?

A: The verification number is not able to bypass office phone messaging if it is set up, so if this is the phone number you want to use you will need to contact the support team for assistance in receiving the code to verify the number.

Q: Why am I receiving an error when trying to change my email address?

A: You may receive an error when trying to update your email address if you already have an account under that email address. You can try updating the account to a different email, or reach out to our support team in order to help update the email.
