How do I Update My Contact Information as a Renter?

As a renter, you can update your contact information whether on the mobile version, the mobile web, or the renter app. You'll be able to update the following information in your account:

Maintaining an accurate email address in TurboTenant is essential for ensuring uninterrupted access to your account and timely communication.

  • First and last name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

    If you've logged into your account, your landlord cannot edit your contact information. You can take care of this by logging into your renter portal and following the steps outlined in this article.


On the web:

Step 1 - Log in to your TurboTenant account and click Settings on the lower left corner

Step 2 - Edit the information and click Save Changes:

If updating your email: If you notice a typo in your email address, you can fix it by logging in with the incorrect email, navigating to Account > Settings > Edit Profile, and entering the correct email address.

You will need to confirm the email change before it is reflected in your account with an automatic email sent to the new email address.

Once you receive the email to confirm the changes, you can follow the link to confirm and log in with your new information!

The updated email address will also serve as your new login email once the change is confirmed.


On the App:

Step 1 - Log in to your TurboTenant Renter App and click "More" and then "Settings."

Step 2- Select "My Account" from the settings page.

Step 3- Edit the information and click Save Changes:

If updating your email:

You will need to confirm the email change before it is reflected in your account with an automatic email sent to the new email address.

Once you receive the email to confirm the changes, you can follow the link to confirm and log in with your new information!

Once confirmed, the new email address will also be used as your TurboTenant login.

Q: I changed my email but have not received it from TurboTenant. What happened?

A: If you have not received the email to confirm the change, you will want to check your Junk and Spam email. You may also search for [email protected] in your inbox to check if you've received the email from TurboTenant.

If you no longer have access to your old email address, please contact TurboTenant support for further assistance.

If you do not see the email in those spaces, we would recommend checking the spelling of the email you updated and trying to make the update again.
