If you need to report a maintenance issue in your rental, follow these simple steps to submit a request through your tenant dashboard.

Step 1: Access Maintenance

Log in to your tenant portal and click the Maintenance tab in your dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New Request

Click Create Request to start a new maintenance submission.

Step 3: Fill Out the Request Form by sharing the details of the issue

  • Request Maintenance: Describe the issue you’re experiencing at the property.

  • Issue Category: Select the type of problem from the list.

  • Issue Title: Enter a brief title (e.g., “Leaky Kitchen Faucet”) - max 50 characters.

  • Description: Provide detailed information about the issue, including the exact location.

  • Preferred Time to Enter: Choose when the landlord or maintenance team can enter your unit. Options include “Anytime” or “Coordinate a Time First.”

  • Phone Number: Enter your contact number.

  • Photos (Optional): Upload pictures of the issue by clicking or dragging files into the upload area. The best practice is to share photos of the issue so that your landlord and maintenance professional can view the issue upfront.

Step 4: Submit Your Request

Once everything is filled out, click Submit to send your maintenance request to your landlord. Your landlord will be notified about the maintenance issue. If you need to follow up with them in the future, send them a message through TurboTenant.

Status of Maintenance Request

You can check the status of your maintenance request in the Maintenance tab. Whether it’s new, open, or resolved, the current status will be displayed to the right of your request.
