Requesting screening reports from potential tenants is a great way to help you rent with confidence and ensure you find your best tenant yet.

TurboTenant helps you get an easy-to-read criminal history, credit report, and past evictions from TransUnion, a leading credit reporting agency.

If you'd like to request a standalone screening or already have an application, check out how to request a standalone screening here.

On a web browser:

Step 1 - Log in and click the Applicants tab.

Step 2 - Click Request Screening Report under the relevant applicant's name.

TurboTip: If you wish to utilize Income Insights, our tenant income verification tool, you must activate it before you request a screening report by purchasing the premium plan. Here's how to do that.

Step 3 - Once you request the applicant's screening report, they will be sent an email prompting them to verify their identity.

As soon as they verify their identity, the screening report will be available and you will be notified via email. You can then log in to TurboTenant to review that report!

TurpoTip: View our Help Center article to learn how to access completed screening reports.

On the mobile app:

Step 1 - Log in and click the Renters tab and select Applicants.

Step 2 - Select the relevant applicant and click Request Screening Report.

Step 3 - Once you request the applicant's screening report, they will be sent an email prompting them to verify their identity
