What to do if you receive a charge notification from your past landlord on TurboTenant

If you or your renter are seeing charges from your landlord on TurboTenant, don't worry, we've got you covered.

Sometimes landlords may send you proposed charges on TurboTenant that you believe may not be relevant to you. It's possible that your landlord accidentally made an error in the charge or charges, or that the charges are not applicable to you.

What it means for you

Rest assured, if you are no longer an active tenant on this landlord's lease, this charge will not affect you in any way. We would also recommend reaching out to the landlord, in the meantime, to ensure that there were no errors made on their side, as well as to confirm that this charge is not relevant to you.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns about this, and our Support Team will be happy to further assist you through email at [email protected].

Note: Tenants who have recently terminated their lease will not be affected in any way by the charge from their landlord and this will not negatively impact your credit score at all.
