Why Your Full Property Address Must Be Displayed
TurboTenant requires the full property address, including the street number, because our third-party listing partners now require it for listings to be published. As more rental sites have updated their rules, hiding the street number is no longer supported.
Why This Change Is Necessary
Displaying the full address ensures:
Your property appears on more listing sites and displays correctly on maps.
Renters can verify the legitimacy of the property and understand the general area before reaching out.
Your listing meets industry standards, which helps prevent fraud and improve lead quality.
Because of these requirements, there is no way to hide or remove the street address when marketing a property online through TurboTenant.
What You Can Do Instead
If you’re concerned about showing the full address, here are a few steps you can take while still meeting listing-site requirements:
Set expectations in your listing description.
Let renters know that property visits must be scheduled with you directly and are not permitted without prior communication.Provide detailed visuals.
Upload clear photos of each room and, if possible, include a video tour. This helps renters decide whether the property is a good fit before attempting to visit.
