TurboTenant Photo Guidelines

TurboTenant aims to create a safe and enjoyable experience for both landlords and renters. To ensure that all people using TurboTenant have a great experience, we have created guidelines to follow when uploading rental photos to your listing page.

We recommend adding at least 10 photos of the rental. When organizing the photos, it's best to arrange them in the same order a potential renter would see the rental during an in-person visit. For tips on taking amazing photos of your rental, check out our "Taking Amazing Property Photos" blog post.

TurboTenant allows photos to be uploaded in JPEG or PNG format. Photos should be at least 330x330 pixels in size. If you have any issues uploading your photos, please check the size and format. Similarly, if you took your photos with a Hi-Resolution camera, photos should not be any larger than 900x900 pixels, as that is the size of the images page, and 72 DPI (best for the internet). There are many free websites that allow you to change the size and format of photos - here are a few options: https://www.img2go.com, https://resizeimage.net/, https://convertio.co/image-converter/.

If you add photos containing any of the below, your listing will be rejected by TurboTenant:

  • A person or people

  • Commercial properties

  • Screenshots

  • MLS Watermarks

  • Third-Party URLs

  • Content that is discriminatory or violates the Fair Housing Act

  • Inappropriate content, or content that violates TurboTenant's Terms of Use

You can add, remove, and rearrange property photos within your TurboTenant listing page at any time. Read more about how to rearrange your property photos here.
