You can now enable partial payments for your lease so that roommates can split the rent, or individuals can pay in increments!
Renters will be able to choose the specific amount they want to pay. The remaining balance will still appear on your payments page and lease, as well as in your renters' payments sections.
TurboTip: Renters may edit the amount being paid, but they are not able to make a payment for an amount greater than the amount being charged.
Step 1 - Login to your account and click on the Leases tab:
Step 2 - Click the lease you want to update and click Edit at the top right-hand corner of the page:
Step 3 - Scroll down to the Payments section and select Yes on partial payments. Remember to save your changes!
FAQs
Can I enable partial payments on a lease where my tenant has already set up auto-pay? If your tenant has autopay set up for the total amount, it is not possible to set up autopay for partial payments or one-time fees. They will need to submit the partial payment manually.
