If you find that you need to make an adjustment to a charge for one of your tenants, or get rid of it completely, we make the process easy to do within your TurboTenant account.
Getting Started
Step 1: Log in to your account and click on the "Leases" tab.
Step 2: Click "View Payments" under the lease for which you want to edit or delete a charge.
To Edit an Upcoming Charge
Click the edit (or pencil) icon next to the upcoming charge you want to edit.
Make any necessary changes, such as amount information or adding automatic late fees. When you're finished, don't forget to save your changes! Your upcoming charge should now reflect your edits.
To Delete an Upcoming Charge
Click the edit (or pencil) icon next to the charge you want to delete.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Delete This Monthly Charge."
Your charge should now be removed from the "Upcoming Charges" section.
To Edit a Sent Charge
Click the grey arrow next to the charge for which you want to edit, then click the "Edit" button.
Make your changes to the sent charge β like updating amount information or the due date β then click "Next."
Review your changes, and if everything looks correct, click "Save Changes." Your sent charge is now modified.
Keep in mind that when you modify a sent charge, this change ONLY affects the selected charge and no future charges.
To Delete a Sent Charge
Click the grey arrow next to the charge amount for which you want to delete, and then click the "Edit" button.
Click "Delete This Monthly Charge" at the bottom of the page.
The charge you removed won't be sent to your tenants, effective the day you delete it. Deleting a monthly charge only affects future charges. We recommend messaging your tenants to let them know about the charge removal.
You can now also edit and delete sent charges from your "Payments" tab in your left-hand column navigation.
