At TurboTenant, we prioritize the safety and protection of our users. We employ various automated measures to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, and our security team is always vigilant in monitoring accounts for any suspicious behavior. Furthermore, we ensure that all sensitive data on our platform is encrypted.

Additionally, we have partnered with a top-notch payment processor, Stripe, to handle all payment transactions. If you'd like to read more about their security, you can do so here: https://stripe.com/docs/security/stripe.

Our application undergoes regular automated security scanning and manual penetration testing to ensure security and resilience against vulnerabilities. Here is an independent Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Web Encryption security report from Qualys SSL labs showing an A rating: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=rental.turbotenant.com&latest

We have developed our platform to safeguard our customers against potential threats by implementing security measures across all levels, ranging from physical to application layers. Our approach involves isolating customer applications and data to enhance protection. Additionally, we can swiftly deploy security updates without interrupting our customers' services or requiring their intervention.

To ensure the security and privacy of our applicants, we encrypt and securely transmit each applicant's SSN to TransUnion, which is not viewable by our employees or users (the landlord). As an added measure of caution, all of our employees undergo background checks.

The physical infrastructure is hosted and managed within Amazon’s secure data centers and utilizes the Amazon Web Service (AWS) technology. (Read more about AWS security here). Amazon continually manages risk and undergoes recurring assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards. Amazon’s data center operations have been accredited under the:

  • ISO 27001

  • SOC 1 and SOC 2/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 (Previously SAS 70 Type II)

  • PCI Level 1

  • FISMA Moderate

  • Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
