What's Happening?
Rentler is partnering with TurboTenant so that your property management — including rent payments, maintenance requests, and landlord communication — moves to TurboTenant. You can still find your next rental on Rentler, but TurboTenant is now the platform you'll use for everything related to your tenancy.
The most important thing to know: your rent payments will continue without interruption. Your payment information, account details, and payment history are all transferring over automatically.
What This Means for You
Your TurboTenant account will be automatically created with your information
Your payment methods transfer securely — no need to re-enter anything
You'll manage all rent payments through TurboTenant going forward
You'll have access to your TurboTenant Renter Portal and mobile app
Rentler will remain accessible for viewing your historical information
Your Payment Information
❗ Autopay: If you have autopay set up, please read this carefully:
On Rentler, autopay charged on a fixed calendar date each month.
On TurboTenant, autopay processes on your rent due date or a set number of days before it. This means the date your payment processes may be different than what you are used to.
On Rentler, multiple tenants on a lease can set up autopay, and you can pay a partial rent amount through autopay.
On TurboTenant, only one tenant may have autopay set up for a specific rent charge, and it must be for the full rent amount.
When you access your new account, go to your payment settings and confirm when your next autopay payment is scheduled so you are not caught off guard.
Payment methods: All your payment methods transfer securely — no action
needed
Payment history: Your complete payment history will be available in your new account
Recommended action: When you receive access to your TurboTenant account, log in and verify that your payment information and settings appear correctly.

Rent Credit Reporting
If you had an active rent reporting subscription on Rentler: Great news — your subscription transfers automatically to TurboTenant. You don't need to re-enroll. Your reporting history stays intact and your credit building continues without interruption. You can view and manage your subscription from Settings, then Rent Reporting after you log in.
If you didn't have rent reporting on Rentler but want to start: TurboTenant offers rent credit reporting as an optional subscription. Your on-time payments can be reported to credit bureaus to help build your credit history. You can also opt in to credit reporting when you make a payment
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to do anything to keep my rent payments running? No. Your payment methods transfer automatically. One thing to be aware of: on Rentler, autopay charged on a fixed calendar date. On TurboTenant, it processes on your due date or a set number of days before it, so the day your payment goes through may shift. We recommend logging in and checking your autopay settings after migration so you know when to expect your next payment.
Q: Will I need to set up my payment methods again? No. All existing payment methods transfer securely.
Q: Can I still see my payment history from Rentler? Yes. Your complete payment history will be available in both TurboTenant and Rentler. Rentler will remain accessible for viewing historical information.
Q: How do I access my new TurboTenant account? You'll receive an email with a link to set your password and access your new TurboTenant Renter Portal. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or contact us at [email protected].
Q: Does TurboTenant have a mobile app? Yes. The TurboTenant app is available on iOS and Android. You can pay rent, submit maintenance requests, and message your landlord from anywhere.
Q: Will my landlord know I've switched to TurboTenant? Yes. Your landlord is also transitioning to TurboTenant and will continue managing your rental through the platform.
Q: What if I had rent credit reporting on Rentler? Your rent reporting subscription transfers automatically. No action needed. You can confirm your subscription status in the Rent Reporting tab in your settings.
Q: What if I want to start rent credit reporting? You can enroll at any time through your TurboTenant dashboard. Your on-time payments will be reported to credit bureaus to help build your credit history.
Q: I can't log in to my TurboTenant account — what should I do? Make sure you're using the same email address you used with your Rentler portal, and that you set your password using the link in the TurboTenant welcome email — not by signing up as a new user. If you're having trouble:
Use the Forgot Your Password? option on the login page
Check your spam or junk folder for the original TurboTenant welcome email
If your email address isn't recognized, contact us at [email protected] — so our team can take a closer look!
Q: My rent payment shows as sent but hasn't arrived in my landlord's account — what should I do? Payments on TurboTenant can take 5–7 business days to process, which may be longer than you were used to on Rentler. Here's why:
3 to 5 business days: The time it takes for standard ACH funds to clear.
1 to 2 business days: The time it takes for those funds to be processed and deposited into your landlord's account.
We never hold onto your funds — this timeline is due to standard banking processing windows. If it has been longer than 7 business days, contact us at [email protected].
Q: How does Autopay scheduling work on TurboTenant? Autopay can only be scheduled up to 12 days before your rent due date. Scheduling Autopay for a date after the due date is not supported.
If you need a later Autopay date, ask your landlord to move your rent due date to a later day in the month. This shifts the 12-day window, giving you more flexibility in when you schedule your payment.
Q: What information was migrated from Rentler? To keep things simple, we connected your Rentler Stripe account directly to TurboTenant's platform. No sensitive data was moved or altered — your payment information, bank account details, rent payments, Autopay settings, and overall account configurations remain exactly as they were on Rentler.
Q: My account is showing an incorrect balance or late fee — what should I do? Some accounts experienced balance or late fee discrepancies as a result of the migration. If something doesn't look right, do not pay the balance until you've spoken with our team. Contact us at [email protected] and we'll review and correct your account.
Q: I can't access my Renter Portal or the page isn't loading — what should I do? Try the following steps:
Refresh the page or try a different browser
Clear your browser cache and cookies
If you're on the mobile app, try using the web version
If on web version and it does not work, try accessing the portal from the TurboTenant mobile app instead
If none of these work, contact us at [email protected]
Q: I only used Rentler for one part of my rent — can I still make partial payments on TurboTenant?
On TurboTenant, autopay must cover the full rent amount and only one tenant per lease can have autopay enabled. However, you can still make manual partial payments at any time through your Renter Portal. If you and your roommates previously split payments through autopay, you'll need to coordinate who sets up autopay.
