Step 1: Start Your Autopilot Enrollment
When enrolling, you’ll enter:
Your name (or LLC name)
Email address
Phone number
Property address
If you already have a TurboTenant account, you’ll log in. If not, you’ll create one as part of the process.
Step 2: Review the Autopilot Agreement
Before we begin managing your property, you’ll review and e-sign the Autopilot Agreement.
This agreement outlines:
Our authority to advertise, show, and lease your property
Your continued ownership and legal responsibility
The flat monthly pricing
Service scope (tenant placement + ongoing management)
Cancellation terms
You remain the legal property owner and landlord of record. Autopilot manages the operational process, but ownership and compliance responsibilities stay with you.
Step 3: Confirm Property Eligibility
To move forward, your property must:
Not be listed for sale
Not be under contract with another brokerage or property manager
Not be pending another active listing agreement
Not be furnished
You must have legal authority to rent the property. If you’re representing the homeowner, you’ll provide the owner’s full name, email, phone number, and your relationship to the property.
Misrepresenting ownership or authority will void the agreement.
Step 4: Provide Property Details
After signing, you’ll complete onboarding inside your dashboard. This includes:
Current occupancy status (owner-occupied, renter-occupied, or vacant)
Target move-in date
Lease terms (rent, deposit amount, pet policy, utilities, occupancy limits)
HOA requirements (if applicable)
Lockbox placement details
Key and access information
Surveillance disclosures (if cameras are present)
These details allow us to prepare your listing and coordinate showings correctly.
Step 5: We'll Schedule Photography & Lockbox Installation
Once your property is move-in ready, we will:
Schedule professional photography
Perform a walkthrough
Install a secure smart lockbox
Publish your listing within 24–48 hours after photos are complete
From there, Autopilot handles inquiries, showings, screening, and lease coordination.
Can I Cancel Autopilot?
Autopilot uses a non-binding agreement.
You may cancel according to the terms outlined in your signed agreement. If you’re considering cancellation, contact our team first — we’re happy to review any concerns and explore solutions.
What Happens After Enrollment?
Once your agreement is signed and onboarding is complete, our Autopilot specialists handle everything else, including:
Listing preparation
Coordinating showings
Screening applicants
Providing you a list of possible tenants that you can approve/reject
Managing the lease signing and getting collected payments to you
