Listing Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do I schedule to view the property?

A: All of our Showings are booked online through TurboTenant's listing pages. If you have an address in mind, just search it here.

Q: I've been calling the Listing's phone number, but it goes straight to voicemail.

A: This is a no-call number, as it is set up to text you the showing link to book your viewing. You can text this number back – (415) 843-5969 – for a representative to help you.

Q: Why is the website asking me to verify my identity?

A: Our system may have flagged your showing as high-risk. Please click the green “Verify my identity” button and follow the prompts to complete scheduling your showing.

Q: I'm at the property, and the lockbox won't open.

A: If the lockbox turns red and you hear an alarm, it is locked for 5 minutes. Please do not touch any buttons and wait 5 minutes before trying your code again. If the lockbox still does not work, please call Ziprent's Showings department (the number found in your booking email), and we would be happy to help with further troubleshooting.

Q: I can´t find the lockbox?

A: Images & a description of the lockbox location were emailed to the email address used to schedule the showing. If you are still looking for the lockbox after reviewing this information, please email us at [email protected] for assistance.

Q: Can I speak to the owner?

A: Ziprent has been employed as the Property Management. Our staff would be happy to help you with any questions about the property.

Q: How do I submit an application after viewing?

A: An Application link will be texted after your showing. If you do not receive this text, please email us at [email protected].

Q: Where do I send my questions after my self-showing?

A: Please email our Showings department at [email protected], and our team would be happy to help you with any questions or concerns you may have.

Q: Can I schedule a showing/submit an application through Zillow?

A: While we advertise on Zillow, all showings and applications must be submitted through the TurboTenant website.

Q: Why does Ziprent use two lockboxes?

A: All property management companies hold onto a copy of the key.

The 2nd lockbox is a classic lockbox which is only for the use of us, our vendors, or emergency personnel. If we ever need to get into the house because there is an emergency, having a key in the classic lockbox allows us to do so. An example of an emergency would be if the tenant were away on vacation and a pipe burst, access would then need to be given to a plumber. The key onsite in the classic lockbox is our only copy and is only used as a backup for emergency repairs to the property.
