Have you noticed that the marketing feature on your account is disabled? Let's understand why.

If you've been primarily using TurboTenant for marketing purposes but not leveraging our application and screening services, your account might be classified as that of a "broker."

What do we mean by "Broker"?

At TurboTenant, we use the term 'broker' in a slightly unique way. It doesn't necessarily mean someone who holds a broker's license or operates a real estate agency. Instead, we label an account as a 'broker' when it's mainly used for marketing properties without availing our applications or screening services. This classification might differ from traditional definitions, and we understand how this can be unexpected.

When an account gets flagged for such broker activity, it's crucial to ensure that TurboTenant is being used in line with our Terms of Use. This process is essential for maintaining the integrity of our platform and services.

Because of our syndication partnerships and associated costs, accounts that are merely using TurboTenant for marketing without our other services won't have their properties marketed on listing sites through our syndication process.

While you will still have access to features like Leases, Payments, and Expenses, the marketing capability will be disabled. However, you will still be able to view your past applicants and leads.

TurboTenant is tailored to provide a holistic property management experience. That means it's not just for marketing but for end-to-end tenant screening and management. As such, we're unable to make exceptions for accounts primarily focused on marketing without using our applications or screening tools.

TurboTip: Applications and screening aren’t mere formalities but vital for understanding tenant backgrounds. While you may have other preferred methods, TurboTenant's tools offer unmatched insights. Using TransUnion for screenings, we ensure you're not only following best practices but also securing top-quality renters. Consider harnessing our expertise for optimal tenant outcomes.
