TurboTenant will only review refund requests for the following:
TurboTenant Subscription Charges
Application & Screening Fees (paid by renters or landlords during the application process)
Refunds We Will NOT Review
The following items are not eligible for refunds through TurboTenant:
Rent payments
ACH or Credit/Debit Card Fees
NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fees These are charged by your bank, not TurboTenant, and cannot be refunded by us; you'll need to contact your bank.
Any other landlord-collected fees or charges- Completed payments deposited to landlords' accounts Renters should contact landlords directly to discuss refunds for these transactions, as TurboTenant cannot process them.
If you are expecting a refund for rent, a security deposit, or an NSF fee reversal, you will need to contact your landlord or your bank directly.
How to Submit a Request
Once submitted, your request will be reviewed by our Accounting team.
Response time: 5–10 business days.
Important Notes
TurboTenant will not issue refunds related to landlord decisions or management issues (e.g., denied applications, communication disputes, or rental disagreements). Please partner with your landlord directly for those situations.
Each applicant must submit their own request - refunds cannot be requested on behalf of another applicant.
You must include the email address associated with the purchase. Failing to do so will result in delays.
