Welcome to TurboTenant: Important Information for Azibo Renters

A guide to help you transition from Azibo to TurboTenant.

What's Happening?

Azibo is shutting down its property management services. Here's the good news: TurboTenant has stepped in to ensure you can continue paying rent without any disruption.

This means that TurboTenant is now the platform you'll use to pay rent and communicate with your landlord. We're excited to welcome you to our platform and have worked closely with Azibo to ensure a smooth transition.

Most importantly, you will pay rent exactly as you have been—all your payment information, autopay settings, and account details will be transferred automatically!

What This Means For You:

  • Your TurboTenant account will be automatically created with all your information

  • Your payment methods and autopay settings will continue working exactly as before

  • You'll manage all rent payments through TurboTenant instead of Azibo

  • You'll receive access to your TurboTenant Renter Portal and mobile app

Azibo will become "view-only" for your historical information.


Your Payment Information

Good news! Your rent payments will continue without interruption:

  • Payment Methods: All your payment methods have been transferred securely—no need to re-enter your payment information

  • Automatic Payments: If you have autopay enabled, it will continue working exactly as before—no action is needed

  • Payment History: Your complete payment history will be available in your new account

Important Note for Credit Boost: If you were using Azibo's rent credit reporting service, your subscription will not transfer automatically. You'll need to set up a new credit reporting subscription in TurboTenant to continue building your credit score. Read below for more details.

Recommended Action: When you receive access to your new TurboTenant account, please take a moment to log in and verify that your payment information appears correctly.


Your New TurboTenant Renter Portal

TurboTenant offers several improvements to help make renting easier:

  • Mobile App: Pay rent, submit maintenance requests, and message your landlord from anywhere using our convenient mobile app

  • Multiple Payment Options: Pay rent via bank transfer (ACH), credit card, or debit card

  • Automatic Payments: Set up recurring payments so you never miss a due date

  • Payment History: Track all your past payments in one place

  • Maintenance Requests: Submit and track maintenance issues through the portal

  • Secure Messaging: Communicate directly with your landlord through the platform


Credit Boost

Important Note for Tenants Using Credit Boost: Credit reporting subscriptions will not transfer automatically from Azibo to TurboTenant. If you were using Azibo's rent credit reporting service, you'll need to set up a new subscription in TurboTenant to continue building your credit.

How to Set Up Rent Credit Reporting in TurboTenant:

  1. Log in to your new TurboTenant Renter Portal after you set a password and access your TurboTenant Account via the initial email that we sent to you.

  2. On your dashboard, click ‘Get Started’ on the card that says “Build Credit with your Rent Payments.”

  3. Follow the instructions to enroll in rent credit reporting

  4. Your on-time rent payments will then be reported to credit bureaus (TransUnion & Experian).

You'll also have the option to opt into credit reporting when you make a payment.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to do anything to ensure my rent payments continue?

A: No! Rent payments will continue to work as they have been. All payment methods and autopay settings will be transferred.

Q: Will I need to set up my payment methods again?

A: No, all your existing payment methods will be transferred. If you had automatic payments set up, those will continue without any action needed.

Q: Can I still see my payment history from Azibo?

A: Yes! Your complete payment history will be available in both TurboTenant and Azibo. You'll maintain view-only access to Azibo for historical information.

Q: How do I access my new TurboTenant account?

A: You'll have received an email with instructions on how to access your new TurboTenant Renter Portal. You'll be able to create a password and log in right away.

Q: Is there a mobile app for TurboTenant?

A: Yes! TurboTenant offers a mobile app that makes it easy to pay rent, submit maintenance requests, and communicate with your landlord from anywhere.

Q: Will my landlord know I've switched to TurboTenant?

A: Yes, your landlord is also transitioning from Azibo to TurboTenant. They'll continue to manage your rental through the TurboTenant platform.
