How does a tenant set up a password for their TurboTenant account?

Applicants are prompted to create a password during the application and screening process. 

Method 1: After Completing an Application

Applicants will be prompted to create a password during the application process. After the applicant submits an application, they will receive the following email:

Clicking Create my password will allow applicants to create a password.

Method 2: When Authorizing the Screening Report

When a screening report is requested, the applicant will receive an email asking them to authorize the screening and verify their identity.


Clicking the Authorize Credit & Background Report will take you to the renter login page. Select Didn't set your password, yet?. You will be prompted to enter your email and an email will be sent to you with a link to create a password.
