The video below will walk you through creating a lease agreement in TurboTenant:

Regardless of where you get your lease agreement, you will need to create a lease profile.

Lease profiles are for organizational purposes and allow you to easily group your tenant(s) and property together to organize lease agreements and tenants, rent payments, and documents in one place.

It is a common misconception that a Lease Profile and a Lease Agreement are the same, but they are not.

A Lease Profile is the hub where all of your information for your Lease is stored. To access your lease profile, you can select the leases tab from your dashboard and select the name of the current/draft or ending soon lease to manage documents, create a new lease (if applicable), and manage charges!

You can check out our Lease Guide to walk you through how to start with both!

Advanced Editor

Once you have all the steps completed for your lease agreement, you can use our Advance Editor to remove or add any other information that you would like to see in that lease πŸ˜„

You can access this feature by selecting "Advanced Editor" on the lease building page:

Be sure to select the option to save and preview or review and e-sign.

*Disclaimer: Changing some terms in the lease may conflict with state or local laws. If you make large edits, we recommend speaking with an attorney. Please have a look at your specific state lease agreement for more information. TurboTenant is not responsible for edits that are not compliant with state laws. TurboTenant is unable to provide legal advice.
